Privacy Policy
Effective date: DRAFT - not yet in effect
Masterwell is a product of DH Sovereign Technologies LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use Masterwell, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email address, password (stored hashed), date of birth or age confirmation, and a phone number if you verify one.
- Your audio and projects: mixes, stems, reference songs you upload for analysis, settings and the masters we produce.
- Payment details: handled by our payment processor [processor name]. We receive a card token and fingerprint, the last four digits and the expiry date, never the full card number.
- Trial-fairness signals: to allow one free trial per person, we keep the card fingerprint, a normalized form of your email address, your verified phone number and a browser fingerprint from each trial.
- Usage and device data: pages and features used, browser type, IP address and error logs.
Display, language and location on this website
- Light or dark display: the site follows your device setting. If you pick one with the toggle, that choice is saved in your browser only.
- Language: the site follows your browser's language. If you pick one, that choice is saved in your browser only. Your device's time zone is read in the browser to suggest a language; it is not sent to us.
- Location: only if you tap "Suggest a language from my location" and allow it. Your position is used on your device to suggest a language, then discarded. It is never sent to us or anyone else.
How we use it
- To grade, mix, master, split and export your audio.
- To run your account, subscriptions and the one-trial-per-person rule.
- To keep the service secure and fix problems.
- To improve default settings, using what customers keep or undo. [Decide: opt-in or opt-out, and whether audio is ever used to train models. The plan says only licensed, owned or public-domain audio is used for training.]
Reference songs are analyzed for their sound and are not kept or shared after analysis. [Confirm the retention window.]
What we don't do
- We don't sell your personal information.
- We don't share your audio with other users unless you choose to.
- We don't collect face or voice templates. [Revisit before any face-filter or voice feature launches; biometric consent is required first.]
Who we share it with
Service providers that run parts of Masterwell for us under contract: hosting, cloud processing, payments, email and error tracking. [List providers.] We also share information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Account data and projects are kept while your account is open. When you delete your account we delete your audio within [30] days and other data within [90] days, except what we must keep for legal, tax or fraud reasons. Trial-fairness signals are kept for [period].
Your choices and rights
You can download your data or delete your account from your settings at any time. Depending on where you live (for example California or the European Union), you may also have the right to access, correct or delete your data, and to opt out of certain processing. Contact us to make a request; we won't treat you differently for using these rights.
Age limits
Masterwell is not for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect data from them. Users who are 16 or 17 need a parent's or guardian's card to subscribe. If you believe someone under 16 has an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
Security
We encrypt data in transit and at rest and limit who can access it. No system is perfectly secure, so we'll tell you promptly if a breach affects your data, as the law requires.
Changes
We'll post changes here and email you about significant ones before they take effect.
